This project involved the addition of an elevator shaft to an existing custom home outside of Driggs, ID. Our scope included demolishing the CMU, removing stone, excavating for the elevator shaft and backfill/compaction and cleanup.

The Challenges

This excavation was tricky because of the timing (late fall). This lavish custom-home sits in the mountains, on a steep hillside. Transporting materials was difficult, combined with a small work area.

Excavation for Addition in Tributary (Driggs)

This project was comprised the excavation for an addition in a high-end golf-course community in Driggs, Idaho. It included the demolition of existing landscaping, installation of power/fiber utilities, cutting decorative concrete, and salvaging mature trees.

The Challenges

The challenges of this project included a very tight work area as well as protecting and conserving mature trees and boulders, while maintaining a job site that met community standards.

This project involves the excavation of a foundation for an addition to a luxury residential home within a high-end golf course community. The scope included installation of a temporary access road, demolition of established landscaping and trees and careful excavation around live utility lines, including power, fiber optics, water, and sewer systems, requiring precise coordination and adherence to safety protocols.

The Challenges

Working inside of Teton Springs requires maintaining a visually appealing job-site with minimal disruption to the surrounding neighbors and golf course. This project included a plethora of unmarked/unidentified utilities, which required relocation and temporary bridging to allow the homeowner access to their residence.

The Challenges

This customer wanted to update their AirBNB Rentals. On the property, there are several rentals. We demolished the old walkways and installed a new path with edging. Then, we demolished a portion of the back yard to make room for a hot tub pad.

The Challenges

Customer had a septic system failure. Another contractor replaced the drainfield, but we were called in after that replacement left unstable/uneven ground. We stripped the old sod, leveled the ground and blended the new sod in. After the initial repairs, the customer asked me to lay sod over the decommissioned garden.

The Challenges

Customer wanted their river views back. Willows and beavers had taken over this peninsula and made it difficult for the owners to enjoy their beach-front property on the Snake River. We came in and cut down the larger trees. Then we up-rooted all of the existing plants. We burned all of the debris. Then, we buried the ashes and restored the beach with sand and raking. We added a TeePee ring, fire-place, boat ramp for the owners pleasure!

Re-grade Potato Cellar & Shave Walls

Project Description

The Challenges

This customer wanted a complete update of a potato cellar that is also used for hay storage. We shaved the walls down by approx 4 feet on each side to prepare the building for shot-crete. Then, when the walls were finished, we took about 2 feet out of the floor. This project increased hay storage by 33%. During the project, we had to work against cave-ins, slough-offs, and poor stability.
